TARA BLACKWELL is American but lives in North America

Her STORY

Kristin Gaudio Endsley’s paintings exude a dreamlike quality reminiscent of floating in water. Using water as a collaborator, Endsley has devoted significant time to the study of her craft and her work reflects this. Working mainly on canvas and with ceramics, she relies on her instincts and skills honed during her world travels to construct her abstract expressionist visions. ⁣

She has shown her abstract paintings and ceramics consistently since 2011, both in the UK and the US. Kristin has collaborated with design and retail companies Anthropologie and Serena and Lily.  Her works have also been published in British Vogue, The Washingtonian,  and Home and Garden UK and US.  Her art can be viewed in galleries in DC and London. She currently lives and works in Washington DC and Brooklyn NY.

What we love

Drawing upon her personal rhythm and intuition, Gaudio Endsley creates work with great interior design appeal. Her art fills homes with what she calls “thoughtful intentions.” She relies on intuition and trust in her senses to guide the creation of her reflective expressionistic paintings, as if letting go and confiding in her own rhythmic and balanced instincts. By allowing water to guide her practice through methodical drips or large reflective pools a sense of profound harmony with the natural world is visible in her practice.

"Often my art evokes a memory of either the sea or land—a connection to nature. All of this allows the audience to have a personal relationship to the art/ceramics that is their own."
