Alexandra Chiou
TARA BLACKWELL is American but lives in North America
Her STORY
Alexandra Chiou celebrates life through the fragility of paper in its dynamic dimension and layering. Each paper collage is a complex puzzle of jewel-like color and hidden poetry reminiscent of flower petals. Involving us in a dance of whirling movement, we fall into Chiou’s work wide-eyed and with wonder.
Alexandra Chiou studied Studio Art at University of Virginia and has shown her work nationally. Chiou's work was also exhibited at the US Embassy in Ethiopia as a part of the Art in Embassies program.
